German Federal Environmental Agency (UBA), position paper

The COVID-19 pandemic is causing significant turmoil in society and the economy worldwide. Short- and medium-term grants to mitigate the acute consequences of the Corona pandemic must be designed in such a way that at the same time they promote the long-term change towards a sustainable and climate-neutral society.

This UBA position paper proposes an action plan for Germany that takes into account both the framework conditions for a sustainable economy and concrete measures in the areas of energy, mobility and buildings. The central umbrella of these measures is to implement the European Green Deal ambitiously at European level.
