Business models have evolved due to new digital communication channels such as the commercial Sharing Economy. In spite of its high media presence only few people get involved in the Sharing Economy and little is known about reasons for participation. This article examines how consumers perceive the offers of commercial Sharing Economy and evaluate their own contribution in the process of generating output.
