Sponsored by the Competence Center for Consumer Research North Rhine-Westphalia the KATALYSE institute analyzed challenges regarding the development of car sharing as an element of sustainable mobility taking the perspective of consumers and suppliers. Consumers’ motives were explored via group discussions, while the perception of communal, consumer and transport policy as well as suppliers was gathered through expert interviews and a stakeholder-workshop. Based on the study results recommendations for politics and mobility suppliers were developed.
