The journal "Verbraucher und Recht" (VuR) is getting old. Formerly founded at the College of Business and Politics, it has received its name wisely. It was a compromise. While the Anglo-Saxon reading of consumer law has prevailed for the interaction of these two components, the French-speaking sister journals remain in consumer law or "consumption law". The VuR and its sister magazine in Colombia do not create a legal area, but leave it altogether with consumption and law in a relationship between law and reality. Do they all mean the same?
