German Advisory Council for Consumer Affairs (SVRV), report

For its report, the German Advisory Council for Consumer Affairs (SVRV) empirically examined the situation of consumers in the areas of need of housing, mobility and nutrition, as well as with a view to the topics of sustainable consumption and digitization, and critically analyzed the consumer information tool. On this basis, a total of 40 recommendations for action are formulated in the report. Findings from three representative population surveys and two qualitative studies (focus groups), which were carried out on behalf of the SVRV, were incorporated into the report. The data from the representative population surveys will be successively published by the GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.
