The Club of Rome aims to understand the most important problems facing humanity and the planet in the future, particularly through a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective, and to identify possible solutions. The Club became known worldwide through its report The Limits to Growth, published in 1972.
The German Club of Rome Society brings together personalities from a wide range of social sectors to provide impetus for the sustainability transformation, particularly at national level, in the spirit of the Club of Rome. The current president is the climate scientist Prof. Dr. Mojib Latif.
ConPolicy Managing Director, Prof. Dr. Christian Thorun, was accepted as a member of the German Club of Rome Society at the beginning of the year.
