Every two years, the Federal Ministry of the Environment and the Environment Agency asks people in Germany "How do you think about the environment?" The current figures from this representative survey show: The idea of sustainability has arrived in the centre of society. For the vast majority, environmental protection is one of the most important issues of the future. They want an ambitious environmental policy – but also socially just and economically reasonable. In one word: Sustainable.
