How do people decide?ConPolicy talk at the dena conference
On November 22nd and 23rd this year’s conference of the German Energy Agency (dena) took place in Berlin. The conference was titled “The future of energy transition” and included around 700 participants. For two days, dena devoted itself to issues such as energy policy, the city of the future as well as transition in the energy and heat sectors.
In the panel "And action: How to reach others for renovation", Dr. Max Vetter, project manager for consumer research at ConPolicy, gave an overview on human decision making in his talk titled "Obstacles and shortcuts: findings on human decision making and how to use them". Following the presentation, representatives of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi), the Consumer Center of North-Rhine Westphalia, the dena, the Climate Protection and Energy Agency of Lower Saxony and the RWTH Aachen discussed the question of how to facilitate the decision for an energetic building renovation.
