Digitalization also transforms the financial services industry: Multi-banking-apps, telematic-tariffs for insurances and robo-advice are only a few examples for this development. But what are the implications of these developments for consumers? What do they imply for the security of banking? Will – in the end – only insurance companies benefit from big data analyses? To what extent will consumer information be transformed by digitalization?
These questions will be discussed at today's 5th Forum on consumer protection by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). Here representatives from businesses, consumer protection organizations, politics and enforcement authorities will come together.
