ConPolicy-Director moderates workshop on “Environmental Labelling – Challenges and Future Trends on Global Markets“

Ecolabels play an increasingly prominent role in consumers’ everyday purchase decisions. Consequently, the number of Ecolabels is constantly increasing, with already 1.000 labels existing worldwide. 

In the context of a workshop held today by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety Federal Environment Minister Dr Barbara Hendricks, Maria Krautzberger (President of the Federal Environment Agency), Prof Dr Edda Müller (Transparency International), Dr Ulf Jaeckel (Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation), Dr. Holger Brackemann (Stiftung Warentest) and further national and international experts discuss requirements, challenges and opportunities of ecolabels for both companies and consumers. ConPolicy-Director Prof Dr Christian Thorun moderates the workshop.
