The concept of nudging has drawn attention to the influence of behavioral insights on government policies. This thesis examines the challenges and limitations in the implementation of nudging by the state. From an administrative (law) perspective, the thesis focuses in particular on the fundamental rights dimension of nudges, their control, and the role of behaviorally informed measures in the context of guiding principles of administrative actions.
