Behavioral studies European Commission awards framework contract for the implementation of behavioral studies

The European Commission increasingly acknowledges the fact that consumers do not behave as homo economicus, but that their behavior is influenced inter alia by decision contexts, social norms or the behavior of others. Against this background, in July 2015 the European Commission has invited to tender for a framework contract for the conduct of behavioral studies.

In a consortium together with London Economics, VVA Europe and Ipsos NV ConPolicy has been awarded the framework contract for the second time in a row and will be conducting behavioral studies for the Commission from January 2016. An expert panel consisting of Professor Lucia Reisch (Copenhagen Business School), Professor Hans-W. Micklitz (European University Institute), Professor Andreas Oehler (University of Bamburg) and Professor Dr Gerald Spindler (University of Goettingen) will be supporting the project.
