At the end of 2012 the Health and Consumer Directorate-General issued a call for tender for evaluation, impact assessment and the provision of studies in the field of consumer protection under a multiple-framework contract. A consortium under the leadership of IBF International Consulting and with participation of ConPolicy, Economisti Associati, Significant GfK, Consumers International and Institut National de la Consommation put together a compelling proposal and won this framework contract. For the next four years this consortium will assist the European Commission in conducting an evidence-based consumer policy.
