In light of a rapidly growing population and household-income, the Philippine Government strives to improve consumer protection. On behalf of the German Government, German International Cooperation (GIZ) will support the Philippines in this endeavor until the end of 2017. To set the right priorities, on a mission to Manila ConPolicy (Prof Dr Christian Thorun und Dr Jana Diels) undertake a critical appraisal of the institutional consumer protection landscape and the challenges that consumer face in the Philippines and develops project proposals to increase consumer protection.
