Ukrainian consumer protection delegation at a study tour in BerlinConPolicy hosts seminar about an evidence-based consumer policy

This week a group of representatives from Ukrainian consumer protection NGOs is visiting Berlin to learn more about consumer protection in Germany. In this context the participants ought to learn more about the institutional landscape in consumer protection in Germany, its legal basis and the pros and cons of the German system.

In a seminar ConPolicy-Executive Director, Prof. Dr. Christian Thorun, explained the role of an evidence-based consumer policy in Germany and the European Union, what methods could be applied and how they could be transposed to the Ukraine.

The study tour is organized by the Institute for European Politics and financed by the German Foreign Office.
