Many businesses have stepped up their social responsibility activities in recent years. At the same time political institutions have revised their CSR strategies. Currently the European Commission asks stakeholders to participate in a consultation about the European CSR-Strategy. In the context of a symposium the responsible German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs wants to inform about its CSR activities and invites stakeholders to voice their views about the European and German CSR-strategies and to highlight areas for improvement. ConPolicy-Director Prof Dr Christian Thorun moderates the symposium.
