Consumer information is an essential instrument in consumer policy. Yet consumers are increasingly losing an overview due to the sheer amount of information. Against this background within the context of a parliamentary breakfast EOS investigated the question how to improve consumer information in the digital age.
Prof Dr Jürgen Keßler from the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and ConPolicy-Executive Director, Prof Dr Christian Thorun, contributed to this discussion with two impulses. Prof Thorun focused in particular on the opportunities and risks of digitalisation and its impact on consumer information. Furthermore, he highlighted potential solutions.
