Consulting
Consumer policy is a horizontal, cross-cutting policy domain. This can pose significant challenges for businesses. Be it the consumer credit directive, unfair commercial practices legislation or privacy regulations - consumer law is comprehensive and constantly changing. Furthermore, due to the fact that consumer protection is under the auspices of different ministries and committees and because a wide range of stakeholders are involved, it is difficult for businesses to stay current on developments.
ConPolicy helps businesses stay abreast of relevant developments in consumer policy. In doing so, ConPolicy enables businesses to engage in the political decision-making process early on, to anticipate changes in law and to develop positions and solutions. In our consulting practices we draw on our research and our international network of experts.
Core services offered by ConPolicy:
- Monitoring: Tailored to the specific needs of our clients, ConPolicy combines information about the consumer policy framework and the various expectations of relevant stakeholders.
- Situation Analysis: ConPolicy evaluates to what extent our clients’ operations comply with consumer expectations towards responsible business practices.
- Strategy and implementation: Based on the situation analysis, together with the client ConPolicy develops a strategy for how the client’s products, services and service delivery can be improved to exceed consumer expectations.
- Cooperation with stakeholders: Many of today’s challenges cannot be adequately addressed by a single company alone. Only together with other stakeholders can solutions be developed and implemented. ConPolicy assists businesses in the identification of relevant stakeholders and moderates an outcome-based dialogue.
